Cataract only can be removed after they ripen
Fact
Actually it is up to you, and your doctor, to
decide when to remove a cataract. The concept
of waiting the cataract become ripe before it
can be removed is also valid but our modern
surgical today is very safe in experienced
hands. So, most people have them removed
when the decrease in vision starts bothering
them.
